Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 20, 2026

TaxMitigation.net (the "Site") is owned and operated by PRAIS Financial Management, LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you complete the Retirement Tax Readiness Score or other forms on the Site, we collect the information you enter — typically your first name, email address, and your answers to the assessment questions. If you subscribe to a newsletter, request a guide, or schedule a consultation, we collect the contact details you submit for that purpose.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and its service providers may automatically receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring pages, including through cookies or similar technologies used for site functionality, analytics, and — if enabled in the future — advertising measurement (for example, Meta Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag). You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to deliver your assessment results and requested materials; to respond to your inquiries and schedule consultations you request; to send educational content about retirement tax planning, from which you may unsubscribe at any time; to operate, secure, and improve the Site; and to measure the effectiveness of our content and, if applicable, our advertising.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf to run the Site and its features — for example, form processing and lead delivery (such as Formspree), email delivery, appointment scheduling, and website hosting — and only for those purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property. If you become a client, information you provide in that relationship is governed by the agreements and privacy notices delivered to you at that time.

Email communications

If you provide your email address, you may receive your assessment results along with occasional educational tax planning insights. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and opting out stops marketing messages, though we may still send transactional messages you request (such as delivering results or confirming an appointment).

Your choices & rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, or to ask any question about this policy, contact us through the Work With Us page and we will respond as required by applicable law. We honor unsubscribe requests promptly.

Data retention & security

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be posted on this page.
